Deborah Lynn

Award winning country singer/songwriter Deborah Lynn was born and raised in Stirling Ontario.  Traditional country roots with musical influences in folk and classic rock paired with her incredible vocal talent consistently leave audiences wanting to hear more.

Deborah Lynn has been singing and playing guitar since she was young. After college she started a small business in Toronto and entrepreneurship did not leave much time for music but a fateful trip to Nashville in 2018 reignited the country music spark buried within her.  Deborah was lucky enough to play the songwriters open mic at the iconic Bluebird Café and joined the house band on stage for a couple songs at the famed Tootsies on Broadway.

Proud CCMA and CMAO member Deborah Lynn released her debut single April 17th, 2020 called Revive a Ghost.  It quickly rose to Number 1 on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown and was nominated for a Josie Award for best female country song.  The Josie awards, hosted in Tennessee, are the largest international Indie Awards show with upwards of 50000 submissions annually.  Deborah Lynn has been nominated for several Breezeway awards over the years and is a multi-time Breezeway Award winner.  She performed at the 2020 awards show and will be a guest presenter at the 2022 awards.

Deborah Lynn channels her country music influences to tell an enchanting tale about letting go of the past with her second single, “Something Good”, released in April of 2022.  Foregoing the traditional take on despair in love songs, Deborah Lynn frames “Something Good” as a bright reflection on personal growth and overcoming the negative obstacles in life. “This is a song about letting go of the past, learning from it, and knowing that if you are patient enough, good things will come your way,” she shares.  It has been picked up by several radio stations and is available on all streaming platforms.

She continues to write new music and is already hard at work on her third release which she hopes to drop this summer.  Deborah is excited to announce that she will be making her first festival appearances with a full band, summer 2022, appearing at The Hollyrood Country Jamboree in July and The County Country Jamboree in August.  She is also looking forward to opening for Jade Eagleson in her hometown at the Stirling fair this August.  Stay tuned for more great things coming from Deborah Lynn!
